 VAN DER WERF(F) FAMILY HISTORY 

The tradition started with fathers passing along the old family Bible down their line of sons and grandsons, endowing each and every one of them with the heartfelt responsibility to continue the memory of their family history alive among the future generations. This piece of history is now available to the world in the form of a richly illustrated and lovingly crafted genealogy of twelve generations in Dutch ancestry. The WERF(F) BOEK portrays VAN DER WERF(F) shipyards and the shipbuilding heritage of over 720 descendant families dating back from 1698 up through the present day.

The WERF(F) BOEK is a collection of authentic, careful interpretations compiled together with text and an unprecedented collection of Dutch artwork and photographs. Although it was never intended for commercial production, the WERF(F) BOEK sparked a genuine interest from Dutch descendants, educational institutions, and historians around the world.
